A clownish grotesque with a touch of dreaminess
What happens in a kitchen when we let not one, but three cooks bake a cake? Cooks who are more or less skilled… well, rather less skilled… actually, more or less completely unskilled. But never mind. We’ll mix physical expression, movement, and sound, add a pinch of object theatre, and cook everything on a musical stove. We’ll thicken the grotesque with clowning principles and season it with absurdity and dreamlike fantasy. And then we can serve it up—not just to the youngest audiences.
