A non-hero from a small Czech town struggles his way through war-torn Europe.
At home, Hans Böhm speaks French, German, and Czech because his parents and servants come from different linguistic backgrounds. But at the camp he likes to visit, they say Germans are the best and the others are inferior. And he has his best friends there, especially Karel. They even play together in a band! The young Sudeten “Švejk” suddenly has to go to war, and his mind is a total mess. But the times are ruthless — he must decide right now. And his decisions can mean life or death for him and the people he meets. Luckily, he knows languages! Especially Czech! Such an unsophisticated language, yet it might help him narrowly escape capture and death…
