A delicate puppet miniature about how the presence of another can transform us.
“When I looked closely, I saw. I saw a body fighting for breath. I saw a body trying to stand. I saw a person standing, striving to walk. I saw a person walking. I saw a person walking, alone, alone in cities, alone in forests. I saw a person sleeping. I saw a person trembling with fear. I saw a person screaming. I saw walls. I saw mirrors. I saw another person. I saw the sea. I saw the moon. I saw. I saw the day. I saw the night. I saw a HUMAN.”
We are naked beings under the eyes of nature, our existence is as fragile as a thread, but we can always transform and escape.
Stella Mangana holds a Master’s degree in Dramaturgy and Performance from the University of Athens. She works as an actress, director, writer, scenographer, and puppeteer.
