A little philosophical fairy tale about the meaning of life.
Anushka has a long journey ahead of her. And to make the time pass more pleasantly, she starts singing a song her grandmother once taught her. But in the Great Forest, no path is marked… What if she gets lost? Should she go this way, or that way? Every tree might be hiding a surprise! And what if she does get lost? Does it make sense to turn back? Should she regret choosing this trail and not another? Anushka keeps going, step by step… without even noticing that as she walks, she is growing older.
Under the direction of Lucie Catsu, the ensemble Les Arts Dits is searching for its own path of artistic blending, bringing together elements of theatre with a focus on the art of storytelling: “We invite the audience to peek through a little crack into our world, to slip in a hand, a foot, or even their entire body. Each performance allows real and imagined worlds to reconnect — with delicacy, passion, or sensuality.”
