I’ll make a hole
so I can peek out of it
I’m curious who will trip over it
An original object theatre production. A brief glimpse into natural processes, silent bonding, and budding conflicts within a community of things such as Patrol, Locomotive, Pipe, Whale, Stand, Glade, Nest, Footsteps, several types of Ladles, three Antennas, Prison, Berta, Swing, UFO, Restless Eggs, and the Flower-Moon.
The Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre (KALD) at DAMU offers students space for experimental and original work across theatrical genres. The program connects traditional puppetry with contemporary forms of performative and visual theatre. Emphasis is placed on working with the body, objects, voice, and space. Students are guided towards independence, creativity, and the search for their own artistic language. The studies are closely linked with practical experience, and original productions are regularly created and performed at the DISK Theatre and festivals. The faculty includes renowned artists from the fields of alternative, physical, and puppet theatre. Berta Doubková is a scenography student at KALD DAMU and has already collaborated with Studio Hrdinů, the Tmel ensemble, Damúza, and the Naive Theatre Liberec.
