A small-scale musical and puppet performance about dreaming for the very young children
Hugo didn’t get lost, Hugo simply wandered off.
He is five years old and strides through the world, yet he hasn’t moved from his place.
The world belongs to Hugo, and within Hugo is the world.
He doesn’t know, doesn’t know what will happen, but something certainly will. Sometimes he turns right and finds joy, later left and discovers fear, stands bored for a while, then angrily hops on one leg backward, forward, here and there. Come wander along with Hugo and discover what it’s like to ride a motorcycle, why he doesn’t like soldiers, and what older brothers, bored frogs, African elephants, and unpredictable foxes are like.
Hugo doesn’t plan; he experiences. Hugo doesn’t search, he finds.
Experience the “here and now” with Hugo in a tactile performance full of charming sounds and puppets, where everything is within arm’s reach. Including aliens!
