The unpredictable journey of plastic ducks to every corner of the world.
What actually happened back then, in 1992, when a powerful storm swept a shipping container into the Pacific Ocean? They say it contained over 28,000 rubber ducks. At least, that’s what was written. Some of them supposedly reached Hawaii, some even Alaska. Or was it Australia? The rubber ducks were not only castaways adrift on the open sea but also debris that entered the ocean due to a cargo ship accident.
