The story of a pilot who loved to read and write in the cockpit of his plane. A performance about overcoming earthly gravity and pushing the limits of what a human being can achieve. Experience with Antoine de Saint-Exupéry the beginnings of aviation — a time when airplanes had various curious shapes and when vast distances between continents began to slowly shorten.
Divadlo loutek Ostrava is a professional theatre for children and youth. Its repertoire includes productions for audiences of all ages — from toddler performances for the very youngest viewers starting at six months, to dramaturgical lines for adolescents and adults. DLO also offers artistic-educational programs — seminars and workshops for students and teachers. Every summer it hosts the Pimprléto festival, and every odd year the theatre organizes the international puppetry festival Spectaculo Interesse. The current director of Divadlo loutek Ostrava is Alena Punčochářová and the artistic director is Jakub Maksymov.
